The Results Management Training Program (formally The Resource Centre) has been established since 1979 and is one of the many training programs offered through the Gail Appel Institute.
The Management Series specializes in offering workshops to non profit organizations in the area of effective supervisory and management practices through consultation and workshop delivery. The institute is well known for their two day workshop, "Supervision in Human Services", which has been the model of supervision that is widely practised in social service agencies across Canada. The workshops are designed to facilitate interaction, discussion, and a blending of practical know-how with strong conceptual skills in a relaxed and open learning environment. We cover a wide range of management topics that pertain to team development, performance management, conflict resolution, communication skills, developing policy and procedures, leadership skills, and coaching. All workshop materials can be adapted to meet the specific requirements of onsite training.
