We are currently seeking an applicant for a Contract, 1.0 FTE Social Worker position that will work with both the Day Treatment (Sheppard Site) and Intensive In-Home Treatment Programs.  The IHT Program is a recently created program that provides social, emotional and behavioral support for children and caregivers in the home and community environment. The successful candidate will provide direct mental health assessment, treatment, crisis intervention and case management services to clients within the context of the family, school, home, and the community setting. 
 
The HDC is an affiliated Academic Teaching Centre with the University of Toronto.  As such, the successful candidate will have access to a rich inter-disciplinary treatment environment, while benefiting from internal training opportunities and courses within our Institute.

The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, a community-based children’s mental health centre serving children age 0 to 18 and their families is seeking  a qualified individual to assume the role of Clinical Director (referred to as Director in this posting), a key leadership role that will oversee clinical and operational management of an organization committed to providing the highest quality of mental health services across its residential day treatment and outpatient services that span three sites, two in the City of Toronto, and one in a residential rural location.   

The Director is accountable for all clinical services and supporting the academic mandate of the organization with specific accountabilities that include oversight of clinical service delivery, quality improvement and operational processes that ensure high-quality client care, human resource management and site specific quality and safety.  The Director will support the HDC academic mandate and key partnerships that are essential to effective client care and sector-wide collaborations.   The Director provides direction and support to their leadership team, and in collaboration with the Executive Leadership of HDC provides strategic leadership to the organization.   As an integration with SickKids is currently being considered, should this partnership move forward, the Director will work within the new leadership structure of this innovative and novel collaboration.  The Director will support a transformation agenda that leverages the collective resources and expertise of both organizations to enhance care and services for children and families.
 
The Director is accountable for all aspects of leading and managing the patient/client care services provided within the portfolio.  This will include ambulatory and residential client based services, operational planning, and human resources management.  In collaboration with SickKids corporate services, the Director will ensure prudent financial management and quality management. The Director will provide leadership in designing and implementing change and ensures an environment that supports professional education and quality improvement, a culture of accountability with a focus on measurable outcomes and results.  The Director will support the academic mandate of the organization with a commitment to fostering a culture of teaching and learning across staff and students of all disciplines
